  • How do I pay for my fence?

We have a variety of options. We offer special financing with approved credit. We also accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks.

  • After my project is built, is any special maintenance necessary?

Left unfinished, treated wood ages gracefully, eventually softening to an attractive driftwood gray. On flat surfaces, leaves and other debris may collect and create unsightly stains. Even if your lumber has the locked-in protection of factory-applied water repellent, you'll want to follow an annual maintenance program that includes a semitransparent stain of a sealant that contains an ultraviolet stabilizer. If you stain your project, we recommend using a quality penetrating latex or oil-based stain.

  • What process does West Georgia Fence take to reinforce the structure of my fence?

Fence posts are the structural foundation of each fence. We set each post with wet concrete.

  • What preservatives are used and how long are they effective?

    • Boards are protected at the mill with fungicide to keep fresh while they await shipping and pressure treating at the preservation production facility
    • Boards are treated with environmentally and consumer safe MCA (micronized copper azole) treatment for protection against fungal and bug attacks
